Breakfast with Santa

Bring your camera and take pictures with Santa.

We will have goodies while listening to a story. Then the children will have an opportunity to share with Santa what they would like for Christmas. (Parents, you can take notes at this time, ho, ho, ho!)

Neighborhood Cookie Swap

Alright ladies!!! This is a cinch! Make 2 or 3 dozen homemade cokkies or Christmas treats. You will swap out your cookies for a variety of other homemade goodies.

Remember, you take home as many as you bring.

Notice of Public Hearing on Widening Covell

The Directors received notice of a public hearing by the City of Edmond, Oklahoma County, and the Oklahoma Department of Transportation on the widening project of Covell from Portland to I-35. You can see the documents by clicking here.

The meeting is Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 6:00 pm in the Parks Department Room at 2733 Marilyn Williams Drive (that’s Mitch Park).

Cheyenne Crossing Spooktacular Halloween Party

  • Costume Contest: Prizes for Best Adult, Kid’s Spookiest, Kid’s Cutest, Kid’s Most Original, Best Baby (0-2 yrs.)
  • Professional Magic Show by Jim Green the Magician
  • Games and Relays
  • Drawings
  • Snacks and Tea, Punch, and Water

When: Friday, October 24; 6:30-9:00 p.m. (Magic show starts at 6:45 sharp!)
Where: Club house
What to bring: Last names A thru M – side dish/appetizer; names N thru Z – desserts
What to wear: Wacky, Scary or Silly Costumes! Adults and Kids dress up!

New Pool Hours

Because of some abuse at the pool, the Directors have set the new pool hours from dawn to 9:00 pm. There should be no one in the pool area after 9:00 pm for any reason.

Also, please make sure the use of the clubhouse is scheduled. Children and teenagers are not to be in there alone at any time. These rules are for safety, liability, and protection of our community property.

Independence Cookout

June 28, 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

Hamburgers, hotdogs, drinks, and dessert will be provided by the neighborhood association. All the fixin’s for the burgers and dogs will be provided: we ask you to bring a side dish of your choice.

There is fun for the whole family: food, inflatables, snow cones, and swimming!
